I'm a small mobile business that I repair all lawn equipment and boats. Inboard and outboard's. I've been working on equipment since I was 7 years old. I use to teach small engines and welding to school kids and other students for fun. Sometimes I bring them with me to learn on the job. I've had my own business for 38 years until someone stole all of my equipment. I'm licensed and insured. Give me a try and you won't be unhappy with the service you get.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

Getting to know what they use it for and how they use it. Also,try to find out what the problem is.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

I started teaching automotive and small engines in the 10th grade of high school while I went to high school at Cox high school also when I got out of school started teaching it at otak and ATI and TRI and other technical training schools that closed afterwards I have a lot of texts that are out in the field that training for me and I love teaching people that want to learn

Do you have a standard pricing system for your services? If so, please share the details here.

I normally start out at 30 an hour then go from there. I'm mobile so I don't have much overhead and that keeps the cost down.

How did you get started in this business?

I started when I was 7 years old and loved learning on how engines work and then I learned as much as I could. I became a master certified technician for over 35 years and only a few of us in Virginia that are Stihl platinum service technician 's

What types of customers have you worked with?

I have worked on the owner of fountain boats as well as Pete Roses boat the hit king. To most police, fireman and drs too. I have no preference who it is. I'm professional and treat everyone the same.

Describe a recent event you are fond of.

I pick lawnmowers up from people and have the students that I privately teach fix them and then donate them to adults who can't afford to buy them.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?

Ask as many questions as you can. That's how to find out if their true or if their a flake. Always as for an estimate so they don't give you one price and then give you another.

What questions should customers think through before talking to pros about their needs?

Do I really need a pro or did I try to use this equipment that sat up for a year and instead of draining it,you just tried to start it and it gummed up the carburetor. Does it have fire and gas. What about oil?
