What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We typically ask about their electrical issue or needed installation. If it is simple enough and we can gather enough information via phone or email then we try to quote on the spot on the phone or via email. Sometimes jobs are too complex and require a site visit. We typically give estimates on site unless they are large.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Master Electrician Masters licenses held by half of our staff. The rest are licensed journeymen or apprentices.
We are trained in generators and solar installation and car charger installation.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your services? If so, please share the details here.
We have an upfront pricing system. This allow the customer to know the cost of the job upfront before any work begins. We also offer a visual menu pricing system that presents multiple options and price points so a customer can choose what fits them best!!!
How did you get started in this business?
It is a family owned and operated business and has been that way for over twenty years. Prior to that I worked for other companies for 30 years. Now my nephew runs the day to day operations and believe it at one point or another every cousin, nephew, or son has had his first job sweeping the shop and installing Receptacles after the proper training.
What types of customers have you worked with?
We work with mostly residential customers in existing homes where we need to figure out a solution on how are we going to fix an electrical issue or install this new product like the walls and ceilings are not already in place. So we specialize in repairs and installation in homes and businesses.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?
Can he or she lead the conversation without being over bearing and forceful? Can they think for them selves and bring good ideas to the team.
Also look in there vehicle through the window of his car and see if it clean or not. Likely that is how he will treat your service vehicle and tools.
What questions should customers think through before talking to pros about their needs?
Look online for recommendations everywhere. They are today’s form off word of mouth.
