My proven techniques and unique approach have helped pet owners across the Hampton Roads area to train animals just like yours. I work closely with other trainers and behaviorists, veterinarians, rescues, breeders, the AKC, breed clubs, and the sport community to bring you a well-rounded and knowledgeable training experience.

I started dog training in 2012, when I first got my little beagle puppy. She was incredibly difficult to work with, and many times I thought about just giving up. I see other owners struggling with their pets, and I know I can help them. Creating a harmonious and balanced relationship with animals is my passion, and I love to bring that into my clients' homes.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Your beginning evaluation is FREE! I come to your house or yard, and we talk about what’s going on. I learn about your schedule, the dogs schedule, what past training you may have done, and what problems you’re currently facing. I meet your pups and work with them a little bit to get a baseline of past training, and to learn what methods will work best with them. I also like to watch you work with your dogs to see what you're doing well, and what could be improved. From there we come up with a personalized training program for your family.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am a Certified dog trainer with the Certification Council for Professional Dog Trainers, and my title is CPDT-KA. I am a member of multiple training organizations, including the International Association of Canine Professionals (IACP), and the Association of Professional Dog Trainers (APDT).
