Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Are typical process would dealing with a new customer is treating them like I've known them forever. Whether it's a new or an old customer I treat them the same Good prompt expertise service. I simply provide service that I would expect provided to me if I was on the receiving end.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
My father is our main electrician. he started under his father there goes that generational thing again. he has been a master electrician for over 25 years. And I have worked along side my grandfather and my father since I was young. And now I'm currently going to school myself to become a master electrician. So when you go with Dify for your electrical needs you can rest assure you're in good hands.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your services? If so, please share the details here.
As far as our pricing goes just know that it's hard to provide an accurate estimate when all we have to go on is just a few pictures and a brief synopses of the problem. Not saying it's impossible but there's a lot of variables to be accounted for in working with electrical. So just keep in mind that any estimate given over this app unless otherwise stated is a rough estimate.
How did you get started in this business?
I got started in the electrical industry when I was a young boy screwing in plug and switch covers for my grandfather. He was the start of the electricians in are family. He started a local business named Watts electric. so when I say we've been doing this for three generations, I truly mean it!
What types of customers have you worked with?
Since we have been in the business for so many years we have worked with just about every customer you can think of. we have done complete commercial new build wiring. To full re wire of existing residential homes. And everything in between.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
The most recent job that I enjoy doing was one for a customer that was having trouble finding why her lights had stopped working. She was a little overwhelming at first but that quickly faded. After my father and I came in and diagnose the problem fairly quickly. The lady was so infectiously happy that I couldn't help but smile. As we were on are way out she offerd my father a memento of apritiation . It's experiences like this that truly make me love what I do.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?
The advice I can give the customers is know what you're looking for when you look at bids. From a contractor stand point we want to make the most money. How can we do that and still provide a low enough bid that customers will pick us. simple go with the cheapest products so when they write up an estimate the products they choose are of lower-quality. Something to keep in mind when deciding which Contracting to go with. Just because it's the cheapest bid does not mean it is the best bid for you. Be sure to ask what products are being quoted in the estimate. That way you can be sure that just because it's a cheap bid doesn't mean you're getting inferior products.
What questions should customers think through before talking to pros about their needs?
Well from a contractor standpoint a customer should think about every question. But the customer doesn't really know all the questions to ask and that's were the professional comes in. The information you from the app is all you need to think about. Everything else I will ask you as we go along the process. I like to simplify things not jam your head with a million different things that you should ask. I simply ask you the information I will need as we go and it!
