How did you get started in this business?
About 30 years ago, I was working with my father who used to be an expert in construction. I helped him and got many projects for him after contacting general contractors. After about 20 years of Engineering work and Manager work, I was anxious to do some business that I can create some values and satisfaction to many people. I also loved to do some carpentry work and electric work. I liked the construction work in general.
What types of customers have you worked with?
Our primary clients are homeowners, but we also serve shop owners in malls, street malls, and offices.
We also have past experience in construction building.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
We renovated an entire office space which used to be abandoned for years. After replacing all electric lights, flooring, bathroom renovation, new drywall work, painting, it turned out so beutiful and clients were so happy about it and they were anxious to use the new space. This was one of moment that we felt so happy and proud.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?
The home remodeling work could be either your one of the best choice or worst nightmare. Depends on how you select the contractor. Price is of course one of the top category of selection, but it is not all. My advice is that you should be carefully interview him if he understood the project and provide the reasonable approach to finish the project. It comes with either quotation or any proposal. You need to carefully review it, then most of times, you may make the right decision.
What questions should customers think through before talking to pros about their needs?
Customers should ask key questions like how will you do this. What is the process of comepleting a particular task?
What materials will you use? What's the reason of using it?
The most important question should be the ones that reveals the knowlege and experience that the contractors should have.
