What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We make sure to answer all of their questions from start to finish so that they understand the process, cost, and benefits. We aid in the scheduling details and scope of work to ensure successful work completion and customer satisfaction, from the first call to the call after the completion of work.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
We have been in business over 25 years and completed over 30,000 jobs. Our technicians, and office personnel, are trained on each type of surface and how to get it cleaned properly without damaging the surface.

We base all our pricing on a standardized square footage wherever possible.
How did you get started in this business?
We saw there was a lack of industry standard and wanted to provide that for customers in our area.
What types of customers have you worked with?
We work with homeowners, renters, property managers, realtors, apartment complexes, hotel managers and HOA’s to help provide them with quality service, each time.
Describe a recent project you are fond of.
We just recently finished a very large scale pressure washing job for an apartment complex whom we had never worked with before. The management company has just recently taken over this property and is new to the area, as are its managers. Throughout the bidding process through to estimate approval we were very intentional and proud to show someone who is from out of town the standard of service a company like ours prides ourselves in offering. This project went so smoothly they have asked us to come back to perform painting services! McKown is about forming relationships with all of our clients and keeping them, not about completing a quick job turn around.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?
Our advice would be to hire a company who will stand behind their name. A company who is proud and intentionally forms relationships, not quick job turn around. No matter what industry you are in, sometimes things will go wrong an if they do you are going to want a company who is going to stay and back what they set out to do, to make things right until they are right.
What questions should customers think through before talking to pros about their needs?
1. What it is exactly they are looking to have done?
This will ensure the customer and contractor are on the same page.
2. Is the contractor licensed and insured?
3. How long has the contractor been in the industry?
4. Always ask for an estimate with a proper written scope of work, before hire.
