What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Our very first step is to learn about the new client and their pets. Understanding pet care needs and expectations upfront really helps us customize a service plan that will cover all the bases. Our MyFetch! system allows clients to create their accounts, update pet information, request service, pay their bills, and communicate with their Fetch! provider. Our technology is a tool that makes our experience better, but it never replaces the human interaction that makes us great.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Our team has been in business for 17 years. Our client service team at the office has over 40 years of combined pet care service experience. Every client and their pets are important to each of us. We are successful because we treat every new client like they are our only client.
Every member of our team is a W2 employee. We never use 1099 independent contractors.

Our services are competitively priced based on the DC Metro market. Each service has a fee that's based on the length of time and number of pets. We offer a very generous discounting program that can reward any client. It's based on usage in a calendar month. Use us more and earn a higher discount from 5% to 20% off!
How did you get started in this business?
By accident! I was a Fetch! Pet Care client when I got my first dog as an adult. After four years I purchased the company and never looked back. Passion for excellent pet care and client experience is my primary driver every day.
What types of customers have you worked with?
All types. We have a lot of VIP clients including cabinet level government officials so we are used to working with the USSS background checks, etc. Most of our clients are just like us: they want loving care for their pets for a fair price.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?
Do your research. There are a lot of folks out there that do not have the same background and experience. Make sure a company has been around a long time and has local management. Ask them what happens if your sitter gets sick. Ask them if their sitters are employees. These details matter.
