John is a great trainer. Hes a knowledge of wealth then it comes to training dogs, and hes very easy to work with. He trains you on how to train your dog. Im very happy with my pups progress. When were ready for more advanced training, well definitely train with John again.

John has been great. He is flexible at working with 2 puppies and 2 out of practice humans. He really knows what he is talking about. We started with really young puppies but he is working with us and assures us he will stick with us until we get it right. We see progress with the training each week. Definitely a positive experience and very reasonably priced. When we are ready to go to the next level of training, John will be there with us.

John really helped us understand our dog and how to see things from her point of view. We have an 8 month old pitbull terrier who was very shy when we first adopted her, after we started working with John we noticed many improvements in her behavior around other people and dogs. Also, she no longer pulls on her leash when we walk her which was a big issue for us and we only had a couple sessions with him so far. I recommend working with John as he is very patient and helpful with teaching us how to train our dog.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I teach the client how to teach their dog. At each session I provide them with the techniques and skills needed to accomplish the goal for that session. The client is given homework to work with their dog during the week and at the next session we riview, test, and make necessary adjustments. This technique has proven over the years to produce a well mannered calm and happy dog as well as a very happy client.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have been training dogs for the past 38 years. I am a certified AKC STAR Puppie, CGC, CGCA, CGCU and Theropy Dog Trainer. I am also a Certified Service Dog Trainer with IAADP, ADI, SDCD, ASDA.
