Lane’s team, including his foreman Tyler, were wise to always set expectations for us, especially about timelines, and the cost of building. They were respectful of our budget, and were always upfront with us when we choose to go over budget to add additional items… There were never surprises that we didn’t know about. When unforeseen challenges arose, they were quick to find the proper solution, and our house turned out better than we could have imagined!
When building, you enter a relationship with a team of people that will include almost daily interaction. Depending on the build time, you could be involved for 6-18 months… So you better hope you like them. We heard horror stories from friends about different builders, and by the time their home was complete they hated their builder. We not only enjoyed the Lane Myers team, but his subcontractors were kind and respectful… Which isn’t always the case in the building world.
We are able to say that our relationship with Lane, Tyler, and his office manager Brooke ended better than when we started. I told Lane that since we have finished our home, we have been missing our daily interaction.
