How did you get started teaching?
The Tree Service industry has been passed out from generations in my family. This is all I've ever known and Loved. It's not just a job for me, it's a work of art bringing tree's back to their natural health and beauty. I started out working as a groundsman at the age of 14, and was quickly promoted to the foreman and began climbing and removing tree's within 2 years of starting out. I have traveled to many states to learn and climb different tree's and educate myself on different methods of other states. I am always trying to learn as much as I can. I started my own Company (Timberworx) with my wife a few years ago, I wanted to have something to pass down to my boys and I wanted the ability to treat my employees like they deserve and give them the opportunity to invest and grow with a company. Our team is a very close knit "family" who works in sync with one another very well.
What types of customers have you worked with?
We work with Commercial accounts and Residential properties.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
We are fond of each project we complete whether it be a small or big job. Our main goal is 100% customer satisfaction and building a long term relationship with each one.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?
Always ask and VERIFY proof of Insurance and be cautious if the price is to good to be true, there's usually a reason. Research the company's past reviews.
Look at the crew and their professionalism and demeanor. A good crew who respect one another and work in sync together is hard to find these days.
Quality is more important than a cheap price. Most company's will work with you with payment plans.
What questions should customers think through before talking to pros about their needs?
Is it necessary to remove tree's or can they be nurtured back to being healthy?
Does the company have verifiable insurance? (Not just a piece of paper showing insured)
Do they guarantee their work if I'm not satisfied?
