He was reliable, charged a reasonable price and did a thorough job. He did not require a deposit and did the job in a timely manner, responding quickly when I had questions.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

Typicaly a customer calls and I send my complete information to their cell phone. With that information they can send an email to me with their complete information and a discription of what they need done. I can then make the appointment and give a quote or do the service call.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

 Thor is state licensed:

Contractor  TECL         # 21525

All workers hold state Lic.

Master has 40 yrs experience

Do you have a standard pricing system for your services? If so, please share the details here.

we price out each job or do time and material depending on the job

How did you get started in this business?

I started out working for other companies.  I then went out on my own.

What types of customers have you worked with?

My customers are from all types of business and professions. Commercial business, residential. My customers are little old ladies ( who sometimes receive work pro bono), single parents, doctors, bankers lawyers, mechanics, teachers, stay at home moms, realtors, womens center.

It does not matter who you are, we will fix you electrical.

Describe a recent event you are fond of.

I had a little old lady in her eighties call me last night 9/11/18 about 8 pm and said her lights were blinking. I was busy at the time and told her if she could wait until I could come by about 10:30 pm I would be there and she said she would stay up so I could come by. I got there checked things and found that there was a problem with the power coming in from the power company. I called the power company for her and got them dispatched to fix the problem. She asked what she owed and I told her a hug.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?

I would say call me. If I can't get to the job call some one from a personal referal. Make sure they have the proper license. You have the right to ask and see the license of any electricain, plumber or a/c worker that hire. If they can't produce a state lic. tell them to leave and do not pay them. They are there illegally. Angie's List is also a good resource.

What questions should customers think through before talking to pros about their needs?

They can call me with any thing. Sometimes I can fix the problem over the phone and that does not cost them anything.
