About
Started my plumbing career in 1997 working at a large plumbing company that ran over 300 service calls a day. I specialized in many fields including leaked location, tank and tankless water heaters, replacing all types of faucets including Shower, kitchen, and lavatory. later in my career I worked for a new construction company in the warranty department. I learned to repair many of the problems that plagued newer houses with PEX water lines such as water hammering, low water pressure issues, etc...
Before I ever started my Plumbing career I was a motorcycle mechanic for 11 years and I loved to diagnose problems. This carried into my Plumbing career I love repairing things! And thinking outside the box.
Taking care of problems that homeowners assumed they would just have to live with is a high for me. I'm all about solving problems and giving as many options as possible to the customer to resolve their issues

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I talk to my customer to understand the cause or source of the problem that they are experiencing. Many times the problem can be taken care of relatively quickly and inexpensively.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I went to motorcycle mechanic school in Daytona Beach and learned how to repair things that were broken. One of the great things about understanding how things work is your ability to troubleshoot and to use test equipment in your search for answers. as I said before I work for a large plumbing company which ran many calls a day and I was able to see unlimited number of problems in people's homes. Also by working for such a large company we used to have meetings where we would share problems and issues that we had seen during the day and everyone learn from everyone else. It made me a much stronger plumber especially at diagnosing problems.
I'm also a licensed master plumber and have been a master for 19 years. Takes many years to get this specific license. M37163
Do you have a standard pricing system for your services? If so, please share the details here.
My pricing is based on an hourly rate plus parts. Luckily due to my lengthy career and variety of jobs that I've worked on I'm very good at being able to give you a price upfront. But we're all human sometimes when you uncover additional problems that needs to be brought to the customer's attention but I pride myself on being able to give a very accurate estimate 99% of the time.
How did you get started in this business?
I was working for a company making test equipment for automotive air conditioning wiring harnesses. that was a job that was like buggy whips eventually it was a service that was not needed anymore. I saw a truck with Plumbing truck with a hiring sign on the back and an opportunity to learn a new trade so I jumped at it and hadn't looked back since.
What types of customers have you worked with?
I've worked with all types of customers from homeowners to property leasing agents two very unhappy customers with previous plumbers. I feel that most issues with tradespeople comes when the person doing a job does not explain in detail what the customer should expect and also I pride myself on being on time and doing the best job I can possibly do. It makes us both winners!
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
Describing an event that I'm very proud of was that I recently went to the plumbers Rally in Austin to protect the licensed plumber. I feel it's the plumbers responsibility to make sure that the homeowner has safe and dependable Plumbing.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?
although there are simple tasks and plumbing that can be handled by the homeowner there are many things in your home such as gas lines and water heater / boilers that can cause serious issues when installed incorrectly. Those should be left to the professional.
What questions should customers think through before talking to pros about their needs?
I would try to educate myself as much as I could about the problem that I am facing in my home. The internet can be a good tool for this. Sometimes there are unscrupulous people out there that can take advantage of you when you don't really know what's going on. Ask lots of questions and make sure your questions are answered completely. Don't take I don't know for an answer.
