Listen to what it is they are looking to do. Log all info in detail. If they ask, we offer suggestions or ideas we believe will help the homeowner reach an ending point they are genuinely happy with. Afterwards, we walk the job with the client. It's important that you eliminate any accidental miscommunication on either side of things. By the following morning, we will have your bid ready. Nine times out of ten clients are more than happy with our price. Lastly, we discuss timelines etc., then get to work on the items we discussed. 

My Field Manager/GM has worked in the constitution industry for 20 years. Industrial, commercial, and residential. If requested, we have numerous nationality recognized  certifications I'd be happy to provide. 

We do everything from simple pressure washing jobs to demoing, designing, and installing new residential structures. Typically items such as decks, porches, gazebos, gutters, interior/exterior painting and staining, etc. Anything that can add value and curb appeal to your home or property. We're a Christian company and stand behind our work. If there are any issues with our work withing the first 3 years, we will fix it immediately or replace it. If an agreement can't be met with the client, we will happily refund the money spent on labor cost. To answer the intial question, we look at the average labor cost in your specific areacode/zip for the type of work you need done, take 15% off the median cost and work from their. We find a way to make the customer comfortable with our prices. Even if it means taking a small loss to get the business, we take it. We aren't chasing money, we are building something for our children.... Not looking to scrape up every extra dollar we can along the way. 

After years of traveling and moving up the ladder, we decided it was time to build a company of our own. Our goal is to have a turn key company for our 5 children to build upon when they are old enough. 

ALWAYS, have them walk the job thoroughly and listen.. then repeat back to you every detail you want done before excepting a bid. There are often instances after starting a project, that the homeowner did not know about, where some items MUST be repaired to accomplish their goal. By that point you are pretty much locked in with that  contractor and unfortunately, there are a lot of companies that will "over look" those kinds of  things "by mistake", then when it's noticed..... there's just no telling what they will charge you for "unexpected repairs/revisions/rfi's". I always have my Field Manager walk every job, big or small. It saves on confusion and keeps the customers in the loop with ANY issues that might have an impact on the overall cost.

2)Have you done this before... if so can I see an example of how it turned out? 

3) If I have you purchase the material can you please provide a copy of all of the receipts for me?

4)  Do you require a deposited? If so, what is that used for? (If it's for material, again you need receipts) (if it is to hire labor hands, understand that most work at $10 an hour or a flat $100 a day fee, so the math needs to add up when these labor hands show up.)

5) Do you offer any kind of guarantee? IE. Quality, craftsmanship, curb appeal, rework if something's wrong or labor refunds in the event it's not what we want?
