Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
First, would like you to know that no matter how big the problem seems it can be fixed. Secondly, I'm a "walk the job" firsthand type of guy, seeing it for myself helps understand what all needs to be done and puts us on the same page. If that's not possible then pictures will have to do. But the more info I have on the issue/job description, the better it will be for me to quote the job.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Licensed and Insured Electrician, General Contractor, HVAC Technician, Masonry, and Roofer. With 17yrs in the Construction Industry we specialize in ALL Construction from Residential and New Construction.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your services? If so, please share the details here.
I usually charge per job as a whole, but there's times when I'll treat jobs as a service job and charge hourly. It depends on the job scope and what's all needed to be done.
How did you get started in this business?
Worked for a big general contracting construction company for 9yrs that specialized in Electrical, Roofing, HVAC,and New Construction/Remodeling. And once I became licensed in various trades in the construction field and completed numerous jobs from the ground ups and remodel. I thought it was time for me to start my own journey, so that i could actually do what I love to do and help others at a fair reasonable price.
What types of customers have you worked with?
Residential, Commercial, and multi-family customers
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
I'm actually fond of Every job I've worked on and completed. I can honestly say if you love what you do, then you never stop learning from each and every project. Just knowing that I'm helping others with their home improvement is enough to keep me going. "If you look out for your community, then your community will look out for you"...
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?
I'd say, to take as many pictures as possible of the scope of work, to be elaborate, and most of all be aware of the fraud contractors who ask for money up front. (NEVER give money upfront to anyone without a written, signed, and dated contract by both parties!!!)
What questions should customers think through before talking to pros about their needs?
The more you elaborate, the better for us to get a better understanding of the job/work. If you have prints, pictures, or even a sketch drawing of what you want in mind. It can help us Contractors understand and vision what you are wanting done and what all we need to do to get the job done. From materials, to planning.
