About
I am a local Kingwood resident who will house sit and care for your pets, cat and/or dog, in your home while you are away or a "drop in" visit for a walk or feeding.
I will occupy your house, retrieve papers, delivered packages, bring in mail.
Your pets will be cared for like they are my own. The dog will be walked, played with and cared for. If you have cats, the litter box will be changed daily.
I love all animals and find they love me back!

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
After the first call/text, I'll go to their house to meet the pet and owners. I like to get their directions and the name, phone and address of their vet. If there is any special instructions, I'll get that info then.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Have had animals all of my life. Used to ride horses weekly, too, while growing up.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your services? If so, please share the details here.
Depends on the number of animals, nights and any special needs. Generally $45/night for 1 pet, additional $10/night for each additional pet and/or service.
How did you get started in this business?
Started as a pet sitter with Rover.com. Then branched out to handle the business myself.

Jan is truly an animal lover and an amazing pet setter. When I returned from my trip, my older cats were calm and very happy due to her extended visits. My home and the litter box were pristine. She fully keeps her commitments making my trip worry free. Thank you Jan!!!

Jan has really been adopted by my 2 dogs who are so excited when she comes to stay. One is a puppy, of sorts (3 yo), but the other is "elderly" at 14 years old. When required, she is able to administer medications to my elderly pup.

Janice did a great job. My dogs love her!!!!! She kept us totally informed of all the goings on while we were on our cruise. Set my mind totally at ease. She even got my fussy eater to eat her food every day and that in and of itself is a miracle! Her attention to detail is a plus. Our house and everything in it was in good order when we returned. We will definitely be calling on Janice again!

Jan has taken care of our home and our two dogs during two lengthy Europe trips. Our dogs bonded with her. Our home was kept safe and clean. Jan is very conscientious, dependable, honest, and caring. She is Internet connected. It was easy to stay in touch with her by emai. We're much more comfortable going on vacation now that we've found her. This wasn't always the case. We hired another woman several years ago. When we returned, our house was dirty. No such problems with Jan.

Jan did a wonderful job taking care of our 3 cats while we were away. The cats were happy, litter box changed twice a day, fed twice a day, and they were obviously well taken care of during our time away. Jan was a great house guest and kept the place neat and tidy during her home/petsitting stay.

Jan did an amazing job house sitting and caring for my aging Dachshund, my shy Kitty, and my rambunctious Puppy for a week. My animals were well cared for, happy and healthy upon my return, didn't lose any weight and were less stressed due to her loving care and being in their home environment. She also watered my plants keeping them alive in my absence. I would definitely recommend her and plan on using her the next time i can get away. Darla Castaneda 05/25/16
