About this pro

I am a certified dog training specialist that graduated from the best dog training school in the country, Starmark Academy. I am a balanced trainer, meaning that I use different methods of training that works best for you and your dog. My goal is to build a healthy relationship and communication between owner and dog. I do in home private lessons so that you and your dog get my full undivided attention. I have always been passionate about animals but dogs have always held a special place in my heart. I started off working with dogs at daycares and then I was a vet tech for three years before deciding that being a dog trainer is something I want to make a career out of. I am eager to help build healthy relationships between owners and their dogs!

I enjoy seeing a dogs transformation, especially fearful and reactive dogs, and how happy clients are once training is done. I help people build a stronger bond with their dogs by providing a line of communication through training. And of course, the part I love the most about what I do is working with dogs. One of the most rewarding parts about training dogs is seeing how much it can boost their confidence and reduce their anxiety because they now know what is expected of them.

Taylor’s training method is logical and I’m getting a great response from Zeus. She explains clearly why we’re doing things and is available to contact whenever I have questions. I’m very pleased!

Taylor has been awesome with my two puppies. She started working with them at 3 months or so, she's given us good ideas/tips on training. We've done our best to keep up with the training, and are pleased with the results. I'd occasionally text her videos of how the pups are doing, and she enjoyed seeing their progress and would give me tips along the way. Consistency is key for our two puppies. We recently bought another training package with Taylor for some intermediate/advance training. I'm excited to see how this next phase will go with their training.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

A $40 in person consultation to discuss your goals and I can evaluate your dog so that we can decide which program is the best one for you and your pup.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

I am a certified dog training specialist through the best dog training school in the country, Starmark Academy. I was a vet tech prior to being a dog trainer.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?

Ask for credentials and who they are certified through. Then research where they got their certificates to figure out if it’s a reputable school/program. If you find a trainer who has extremely low prices, that can sometimes be a red flag. Bottom line, research research research.
