Dean was a excellent trainer for our older dog and new puppy. He helped us lessen the anxiety of gettiing our older dog to accept his new baby sister. He also showed us how to fix some with our older dogs behavioral issues. He would send follow up emails, dog articles, and would call to follow up after each session. We appreciate his dedication and love for these animals. Highly recommend him.

Dean worked with myself and my Tasmanian Devil of a Corgi! He really helped work through all of the behavior problems that I was having with my dog and gave me a variety of methods to practice the obedience on my own time. He also took the time to teach Charlie some cool tricks! I would highly recommend Dean to anyone who has a dog and wants to work on obedience or just teach an old dog some new tricks!!

For the last two years, I have been taking our Aussie, named Stitches, to a local groomer, Pooches Day Spa, located at the end of Fair Oaks Parkway in Fair Oaks Ranch, TX. Initially, Stitches was reluctant at being dropped off, but as time went by, Stitches attitude has gone from reticent to eager. Seven weeks ago I engaged Dean Duet who works at Pooches Day Spa and who also has a dog training business evenings and weekends, to come out to our house on Sundays and work with Stitches and I on obedience training.

What I have concluded participating in the training, is that Dean is the reason Stitches likes going to the groomers. Dogs have an innate sense for gauging the range of peoples emotions like anger, fear, sadness, love, kindness, empathy and warmth. Just like humans, dogs respond to the emotions that they sense in the humans they encounter. Stitches has responded in kind to the positive emotions radiated by Dean.

And just as kids learn that Dads mean fun and Moms mean business, Stitches has quickly learned to want to be cooperative in the training process. It is the empathy and warmth as much as it is the great treats that Dean uses as rewards in the training process that Stitches is responding to.

I can recommend Dean without reservation as a dog trainer.

Dean is an excellent trainer! He taught us many simple, fun, and easy tricks to help us with our two dogs. They are behaving so much better since he worked with our family. Our kids really enjoyed the experience as well.

Dean is an amazing dog trainer. He had our little schnauzer trained to 3 commands on the first visit. He not only works with your dog but with you the owner as well. After 5 sessions, we were amazed at what he had taught our young pup. Thank you Dean!

Initial call to discuss issues and specifics of what they are looking for in training. Schedule dog training sessions to begin working on obedience training and/or behavior modification.

4 Session Private In-Home Training:

$500 for Puppy Training

$525 Basic Obedience

$550 for Advanced Obedience training.

How did you get started in this business?

Took my own dog to dog training 15 years ago and fell in love with dog training! A huge fan of Cesar Millan, Victoria Stillwell and many other dog trainers.

What types of customers have you worked with?

Private in-home training with a variety of different breed of dogs from german shephers, bulldogs, labs, Golden Retrievers, Golden Doodles, Schnauzers, bichons and many others.

I enjoy working with families that have children and want to get them involved in the dog training.

Describe a recent event you are fond of.

After working with a pitbull mix for a few months with fearful issues getting in the car, I was able to desensitize the dog to get in my car and go for rides.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?

If you are looking for the flexibility private in-home dog training to socialize your new pup or a new dog member to the existing family or obedience train your dog so they are a more well-behaved member of the family I would welcome a call from you.
