What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have 23+ years experience in the HVAC industry. If we cannot fix it or if we do not fix it right, we do not charge. Quality Service saves money.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your services? If so, please share the details here.
We charge $85 for a service call and Diagnostics. The service call is waived if we install a new system.
How did you get started in this business?
I started out selling air conditioners for Alcapulco Air in Austin Texas in 1997. I started building my own company shortly after.
What types of customers have you worked with?
We primarily focus on residential but we do have some commercial accounts.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
This year, in 2019, we did a new system for a married couple that are both teachers. Their funds were very limited and financing with our third party was a challenge due to their limited income. With some hard work and dedication we were able to get the job financed and put in a very reliable Trane system that cut their electric bill in half. The satisfaction from this job stands out more than any other job I've done in a long time due to the customers satisfaction and end results with the new system.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?
There's a lot of cheap food, cheap cars, and cheap air conditioners in the world. There's an old saying that says when you buy cheap you buy twice and unfortunately we see systems being replaced twice as often from customers going the cheap route. Quality service and quality installation with quality products saves you money in the long run.
What questions should customers think through before talking to pros about their needs?
Verify the company or personnel is truly a pro. Ask details like what is the labor warranty with their work. With our new installs, we blow the competition away. The standard labor warranty with a new install is one year. Our standard labor warranty with a new install is 5 years due to the experience and quality products we use.
