Hi there, my name is Laurel and I'm from the Appalachian mountains in East Tennessee. I've been living in Nashville for almost a year now, and I wanted to get back in touch with my passion for animals. Growing up, we always had a cats and dogs in my family home and I spent much of my youth riding horses.
I have been honing my knowledge of animals and necessary care since the age of eight and I have gained experience specifically in pet sitting and dog walking over the last three years.
I would be extremely grateful to have the opportunity to care for your pets, as I feel most in my natural habitat around them. Currently, I have one 5 year old doggy named Cosmo, who makes everyday brighter for me. If you should choose to hire me, I can guarantee that your fur babies will receive as much unconditional love and attention as my own.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
If you are wanting to become a new client of mine, you can reach out via phone, email, or Facebook Messenger! We will discuss all of your needs and concerns that you may have through one of the communication methods above at your convenience. In addition to this, I like to have an in-person meeting so I can meet your lovely pet(s) and go over their care in their comfortable setting! This is just a preference of mine, so if this isn't possible due to scheduling, everything can be done over the phone!
I would also like to add that I am my own boss for my current job, which allows me to make my own schedule. In this case, I am very flexible and can easliy work to fit your timing!
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have had loads of experience in this service through both daytime and overnight pet sitting, as well as dog walking. If necessary, I can accommodate your pet(s) in my car if they need to be taken to veterinary appointments!
Do you have a standard pricing system for your services? If so, please share the details here.
I will usually charge $12 to $15 dollars per hour based on how far I will need to travel to your home. If there are extraneous circumstances, this can be negotiated as I do not want your pets to lack the care they need due to affordability. We can definitely work something out!
How did you get started in this business?
I honestly just love animals so much. It's so much fun to spend time with them, and it's something that will be beneficial for you, your pets, and myself!
I started doing this in late high school/early college to supplement my income as a student while also being able to do something enjoyable. It brightened up the days I was able to do this and it greatly reduced my stress brought on by a heavy homework load.
What types of customers have you worked with?
I've worked with many different types of customers and plan to continue to do so! It's important that your pets receive the love and care they so need and deserve.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?
Be open about the services you're looking for and don't be afraid to be as specific in your requirements as you feel is needed for your comfort. It's necessary for you and your pets!
