What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Usually a customer will call, we will ask what we can do for them and ask them to describe problem. Then we will set an appointment and determine what the next move should be depending on if it's a repair or roof replacement. Show customer the options. Once they choose say to move forward with Shingles. We order, set a date. My foreman comes out ahead of time to look around. Ask about special plants or sprinklers or such. We deliver material one day ahead. We ask home owner to double check the color. We build,clean up, do final walk around. Get final pay for job. Simple.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Hands on over a 1000 roofs, my crew has over 60 years experience. We can handle any roofing need. But we choose not to do large flat tear offs or new tpo over 500 square. Residential roofing, Church roofing, Assisted living and office parks are our specialty.

Too many options to chooose from. We are very fair on pricing. We made money, not enough in my opinion ,but we like to be on the lower end, not stupid cheap. Those guys don't figure in Warranty or Insurance or taxes. They go out of business. I've run businesses all my life and include all necessary items and profits into jub. This way, we don't cheat you or leave things out. Alot of the other guys do.

I'll be attending an Event next week in Dallas with Tony Robbins and some master marketers. I'm a marketer by heart and I assist other roofers wit building their business.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?
You can get alot of research online. Angies list is a good place to start. Real reviews from paying customers. Also I would suggest you compare shingles, most of my competitors sell Owens Corning or GAF or ATlas. Owens Corning recently got kicked out of lowes, so they made their shingles thinner to make up for the profit lose. GAF look good, but had a recent recall spanning 10 years. Alot of defects right here in Memphis. Atlas also had a big recall- a Billion dollars. and they copied my favorite, the Malarkey Highlander. I am the Master installer in Memphis.
What questions should customers think through before talking to pros about their needs?
Ask the procedures, how long as their crew worke for them .Ask about any high profile jobs they've done. License ,Insurance, are they local? Etc
