What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
First off is to meet the customer at their project to see exactly what is needed and what they wish to accomplish. At that point I will prepare a bid and present it to the customer.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I completed a four year apprenticeship from 1994-1998 at which point I acquired my journeyman license.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your services? If so, please share the details here.
I bid new construction by the device, switches outlets etc. remodel work I bid that by the hour, time and material.
How did you get started in this business?
I was young and looking for a job that I could make a career out of. I went to a small electrical contractor near where I live and met with the owner. I walked out with a job.
What types of customers have you worked with?
All kinds. Commercial, residential, homeowners, home builders.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
donating my winnings from a 50/50 raffle at my kids high school to a kid from the other team who broke his leg.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?
My advise is not to hire the first person that comes along. Meeting someone face to face, to me, is very important. Get several bids and make sure to check and see if they are a legitimate contractor.

what exactly they want to accomplish on their project. How much they want to spend.
