About

We provide playtime or give extra attention to your pets. We can also do some light grooming if needed. We do more than just feeding and taking your dogs outside. We love your pets as much as you do and make sure they dont feel forgotten while youre away.

We also will bring in your mail, newspapers, packages etc. water plants, and keep in touch to let you know how your fur babies are doing.

I am the owner and I have 45 years of animal experience, having had pets of all types since I was 7 yrs old. I have also had pet CPR training and had some training as a veterinary assistant.

I have always had a natural love for animals and I am a great caregiver. I love to nurture and have great compassion for all animals so this was a perfect business to start. I get to enjoy so many different breeds of dog and cats and some smaller critters. Plus I get to make pet parents feel a little more at ease knowing their pets are in their ususal environment and someone loving is coming by to check on their very important fur babies.

Frequently asked questions

I set up a time to come to your house and meet you and the pets I will be caring for. You will show me where the food and necessities are kept-tell me how much food to feed and how many times a day. I will visit your house twice a day to check on your babies.  While I am at the initial meeting I will get a key from you and tell you to make sure to leave emergency contact numbers for me and notes about what you would like done-anything extra such as watering indoor plants or bringing in mail etc.

I have 40+ years experience with animals-mainly cats and dogs but also small critters. I have worked in a pet shop, helped with cat rescues and had training as a veterinary assistant.

I generally charge $30 a day for services within 10 mile radius.  $40 day for 10-15 miles

I took my natural love and respect for animals and turned it into a business. I would much rather see people leave their pets at home rather than take them to a boarding facility. This way the pets are in their normal environment and their level of anxiety is not as high from you being gone. They have their own bed and toys and I come in and give them lots of attention and love and reassurance that mom and or dad will be home with them again soon.

I worked for a lady in PA before I moved to OR who had many varieties of animals that I cared for. She had 3 dogs-2Maltese and a Maltese mix that were truly her babies. She was worried about leaving them with a sitter-but once I went to meet her and them-she saw my natural love of animals and her dogs took to me quickly. She was assured that I would spend time with them and spoil them while she was gone and felt much more at ease knowing her pets would be in good hands.

Make sure your pets feel comfortable around the person you are thinking of hiring. Animals can tell who truly is comfortable with them and who they trust. You want someone who lets the pets investigate them and is not pushy around them.

How close is the person to their house in case of nasty weather.

How much experience with animals does the person have?

Does the person seem to really love what they’re doing?

Will that person put the extra time and effort into making your pet feel special or are they just going to show up, do the necessary things like feeding and then leave?
