I typical go to the person home and diagnose the issue with the hvac system . Once I figure out what the problem is I tell the customers and let them know the cost and then once agreed upon I will proceed to fix the issue .

I have 4 yrs of schooling and I have 23 yrs of experience

I charge $80 for a service call plus parts and labor after the issue is diagnosed .
