Fernando came to look at two toilets that needed attention. He took the time to go over the issues and give me every possible option for repairs or replacements. I appreciate his honesty, time, and professionalism. We have decided to have a replacement installed and have scheduled the appointment and requested Fernando to be our technician.
Update: We had a new toilet installed by Fernando and we are very pleased. Just as before, Fernando was professional, honest, and did excellent work. The replacement of the toilet was done quickly and efficiently and he took the time to answer all of my questions. I highly recommend Queen City Plumbing and Fernando in particular.

I had 2 companies turn down the job, and 1 come out to say that they could not turn off the water to the unit or building in order to replace the ancient Sloan Flushometer from wall to toilet. I then called Queen City Plumbing; Fernando came out on time, gave a reasonable estimate and found the correct water shutoff in the crawl space despite what the other company had said, and successfully replaced a mid-century flushometer completely with a new one with no issues. Very professional and reasonable. Would recommend.

Our goal is to complete every job professionally, communicate clearly throughout the process, and leave the work area clean. Queen City Plumbing is an Ohio-licensed plumbing contractor with extensive hands-on experience in residential and commercial plumbing. Our background includes plumbing repairs, drain cleaning, water heaters, complete plumbing system replacements, remodeling, and new installations. We stay current with plumbing codes, industry standards, and modern plumbing technology to provide safe, reliable, and long-lasting solutions for our customers.

How did you get started in this business?
Queen City Plumbing was built around a simple idea: plumbing customers deserve honest answers, quality workmanship, and a contractor who treats them with respect. After years of working in the plumbing industry, I wanted to build a company that puts customer service and doing things the right way ahead of high-pressure sales tactics. We've grown by focusing on dependable work, straightforward communication, and building lasting relationships with the homeowners and businesses we serve throughout Greater Cincinnati.
What types of customers have you worked with?
We work with a wide variety of residential and commercial customers throughout Greater Cincinnati and Southwest Ohio. Our customers include homeowners, landlords, property managers, real estate investors, restaurants, retail businesses, senior living facilities, and other commercial properties. Whether it's a simple faucet repair, an emergency plumbing issue, a bathroom remodel, or replacing an entire plumbing system, we bring the same level of care and professionalism to every job, regardless of size.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
One of the things we're most proud of is our Queen City Cares initiative. Through this program, we set aside time to help people in our community who may be struggling with plumbing issues and unable to afford necessary repairs. We especially want to help seniors, veterans, and individuals with disabilities. Plumbing is more than just fixing pipes and fixtures. It's about helping people feel comfortable and safe in their homes. Being able to use our skills to make someone's day a little easier is one of the most rewarding parts of what we do.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?
Don't choose a plumber based on price alone. Look for a properly licensed and insured contractor with a strong reputation, good customer reviews, and a willingness to explain the work being recommended. Ask questions, understand what's included in the price, and make sure the contractor stands behind their workmanship. A quality plumbing repair should address the actual problem, not just temporarily cover up the symptoms. The cheapest option isn't always the least expensive in the long run.
What questions should customers think through before talking to pros about their needs?
It helps to know when the problem started, whether it's getting worse, and if you've experienced anything similar before. Consider whether the issue affects one fixture or multiple areas of your home, and whether there are any visible leaks, unusual noises, or changes in water pressure. Pictures can also be helpful.
