What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
After initial contact we set up a phone call to furrther discuss the clients needs, If we agree that we can help them, we will set up a meet and greet. At the meet and greet the client meets and we meet the client and their pet(s).
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
We take various webinars for PSI, NAPPS and other pet care related groups. Also Pet First aid and CPR for dogs and cats.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your services? If so, please share the details here.
Pricing begains at $20 per visit depending on the number of pets and any special medical needs. Overnight visits begin at $55 and boarding is $30 a day.
How did you get started in this business?
Have always taken care of foster pets and pets of friends.
What types of customers have you worked with?
Pet sitting, dog walking, medicine administration, home security checks for homes without pets, plant care for homes without pets, basic obedience training, mail retrieval, trash cans ot to curb on trash day and more.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
We have had booths at different dog events. It's always great when our existing clients come tovisit our booth with their pets.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?
Make sure that the sitter is a professional that is onded, insured and belongs to one of the professional pet sitting organizations. They should have references that can give a new client info that will make them comfortable with meeting and using us.
What questions should customers think through before talking to pros about their needs?
Question them to see if they are qualified and capable of doing the job needed. Find out what their backup plan is if they are incapacitated and unable to complete the visit.
