My work speaks for itself. I pride myself on the quality of my work. I make it a point to not call a project complete until the customer puts their stamp of approval on it.
I would have to say the 2 biggest factors would be the sense of accomplishment and taking pride knowing the customer is happy. I started in the construction trades with my dad when I was a little guy in the mid 70's, always loved working with my dad and have always enjoyed the creative side of it all.

If bid is accepted, meet with the customer and discuss and plan a work schedule. Then do the work, keeping the customer informed of progress.
