I usually do an in home meet and greet to meet the animal/s.. We go over their routine I'm shown where everything is told about any quirks or special needs. Then they either hire me or not. I ask for them to leave written instructions emergency contacts and vet info along with informing the vet I'll be taking care of their pet. Or they want to think about it and get back to me

Do you have a standard pricing system for your services? If so, please share the details here.
I charge $20 for a once a day visit with cats $35 for twice. I charge an extra $10 if subQ fluids are needed I also do in home for $40. My visits are food, litter and a half hour visit. Dogs are variable depending on needs, almost always overnight and start at $40. I take care of a lot of cats with kidney disease and am a pro at subQ fluids.
How did you get started in this business?
I got started when one of the rescue's fosters needed a dog walker.

Describe a recent event you are fond of.
A cat I sit for who is very sick allowed me to syringe feed him and give him fluids. I sat and told him stories about my cats who have died and gave him lots of kisses and love. My supportive care was enough to get him through to his next vet appointment and he's doing better
