Artie Doumas himself responded to an emergency request from me for help. I, along with my house were in even worse peril than I could have imagined with all lights in my home flickering. It was night time when Artie came to my home to find the main breaker in one of my electrical panels burnt and welded to the power bus from arcing due to corrosion from water that had entered the panel over time. The other panel was well on its way to a similar fate. I could have had a fire at any moment. Now I had no power. Artie instantly developed a solution to get me through the night safely by disconnecting the service from the main breaker and connecting it to my stove breaker which was still usable. I now had power to run my A/C s during a hot and humid night. Artie left at about 11:30 PM. The next morning at 7 AM Artie was at my home with a team of men like no other. My service needed to be completely redone from the top of the house outside to the inside in my basement. Everything was failing from water damage. In a well orchestrated effort the men removed the service conduit running up the side of my house, the meter boxes and all wiring and equipment inside the house, two panels, everything! A new consolidated single electrical panel was installed and wired by a total professional. You can clearly see the that the panel, all breakers and wiring were the very best top quality that is available. The way he headed up this panel was literally a work of art. Les worked outside with a few other men at the same time custom fabricating the new meter box mounting panel to match the color of my siding. A new conduit from the top of the meter box up the side of the house to connect to the service was expertly fabricated. With the goal of getting me up and running by the end of the day, all men worked continually with speed and accuracy, even while it was raining! The finished job is just a beautiful thing to look at. These are serious professionals performing serious work while being lighthearted and friendly at the same time in all of my interactions with them, putting me at ease that everything was under control. And it sure was. This was a big job that was finished by early evening. The coordination of the sequence of the various stages of work to get it all done was just amazing. I have never seen anything like it. It was just a week later a tree in my backyard came down in that big storm on the back of my house taking the power line with it, snapping it near the top. This left live wires in the tree. I called Artie and he sent Les to remove the live power line from the tree so that the tree service company could begin the process of dismantling a 40 foot tree from the back of my house. Saved me again. Where are you going to find a company like this? I just want to thank Artie, Les and all of the men that literally saved me and my home. I had 2 other estimates,so I knew what a complete electrical service and upgrade to my house might cost. Artie came to estimate job and explained a lot of procedures that had to be done and I thought his estimate would be twice the other companies. Unlike the other 2 companies Doumas submitted a written estimate that was below the 2 others. I called Robert to schedule the job and he gave an additional 10% off for senior citizen. The job was scheduled 4 days later. The electricians were very efficient,courteous and explained everything they were doing. Robert even notified PSEG to provide a new drop line from the pole to the house. If you need competent electrical work,this is the company for you.

I had a tree fall on my house during a storm and took out my electrical panel on this side of my house. The next morning I called Doumas and Sons to tell them what happened. Very happy with this company. I upgraded my garage electric from 40amp to 100amp service. Artie is a nice guy. Came to the house and we went over what I wanted. The next day he sent me his estimate. I had 2 more estimates. Called Artie back and he was easy to talk about the cost. Didnt take long to agree on a price we both liked. He came the day of the job with 2 workers. Went over everything with them. Great guys. Friendly and work was completed quickly and they did a good job cleaning up. I would use them again.

I had a rather large electrical hookup to a swimming pool. Very professional company from initial estimate to job completion. Work was done very timely, and neatly, and I can highly recommend this company. Very happy customer!
