Piano Tuning, Moving and Repair
The Cacheiro family has been tuning, rebuilding, refinishing, moving and caring for pianos since 1920. As a third generation piano technician, owner Joe Cacheiro is a registered technician with the Piano Technicians Guild and has more than 40 years of experience working with pianos.
All piano tunings are done by owner Joe Cachiero. Joe only tunes by ear.
Why is tuning a piano by ear important?
Tuning by ear ensures that the sound of your piano is bright and full of color. Tuning with an electronic device can often leave your piano sounding flat and uninspiring.
Why don’t all piano tuners tune by ear?
Great question, well it takes more skill and time.
Why don’t more piano owners request by ear tunings?
We’re guessing that most piano owners have never even thought about it, but once you’ve experience the full color sound your piano can achieve you’ll never settle for a digital tuning again.
