What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
After the initial call is made to schedule a FRee Estimate. We will send out our Sales Rep to review the project, scope of work and show samples. If the customer decides to purchase from us we will then contact the customer to review the contract and schedule a production measure. Once the production measure is complete we will place an order for materials. Our suppliers generally email us a confirmation within 3 days. We expect shipment within 2 to 3 weeks of the confirmation (depending on distributer) We will recieve a "Manifest" a few days before a shipment is expected at our warehouse. At this point we call the customer to tentatively schedule an installation date. During the entire process of the job our installation manager will complete a jobsite visit (daily) and complete a "Job Progress Form" any issues or concerns (such as change orders, missing items or broken items)will be dealt with by our Office Manager and Production Manager. Once the job is complete our installer will have the customer fill out a "Completion Survey" as well as conduct a "Installer Quality Control and Job Closeout Sheet" and collect the final balance. When our installer turns in his paperwork our Production Manager will contact the customer for a final job review and discuss any issues or concerns that were noted on our completion paperwork.

Our Siding Installers are HardiPlank Certified which is no longer available. Energy Catchers LLC is a Lead Certified Firm, A+ Accredited with the BBB, Won the "People Love us on Yelp" Award for 2016, Energy Star Partner and Duke "Smart Contractor" approved Installer. We are Fully Insured with General Liability and Workers Comp Insurance and Locally Licensed. Our Windows offer the Good HouseKeeping Seal of Approval.
How did you get started in this business?
The owner of Energy Catchers LLC started his contracting business in 1994 and started in Buffalo NY. He moved to Cary NC in 1998 and started his contracting business here. Energy Catchers LLC was formed in 2010 and offically opened in 2012 to showcase and specialize in "Exterior Energy Efficient Home Improvements"
What types of customers have you worked with?
Energy Catchers works with Residential, Commercial and HOA Clients as well as Real Estate Agents and Investors. In 2017 Energy Catchers LLC was awarded a contract to complete the North Bend Town Home Association Town Homes Siding Project for their entire community and also asked to become an official Installer for one of the Largest "Box" stores in the Country!
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?
Look at the companies reviews, BBB report and see what people are saying about the company online. Ask your friends, neighbors and co-workers if they have had any experience with the company.
What questions should customers think through before talking to pros about their needs?
Get a budget together, general ideas of a project and design. Ask your self what have you seen and liked? Use Pinetrest when possible to show the potential contractor what your thoughts are.
