With over a decade of professional training experience and a top ranking graduate of 3 of the best dog training schools in the country Kieli is second to none in knowledge and experience. Award winning training with both client dogs and her own, Kieli has proven credentials that you can trust. She's trained dogs for on and off-leash obedience, house manners, puppy basics, agility, search & rescue, dock dog, police work and competition obedience. She has also successfully helped owners rehabilitate fear reactive and aggressive dogs.
The Canine Training Co.'s goal is to help train dogs to be better behaved while teaching owners how to work with their dog. If an owner is knowledgeable and confident there is no limit to what can be accomplished. All training is focused on what works best for dog and owner.
I love my job. There is nothing more rewarding then helping owners to have the kind of relationship with their dogs that they've always wanted.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I always start with a free evaluation. That way I can see exactly what is going on with the dog, what is working for the owner and where they need help. From there I can determine what type of training program is needed to help both the owner and dog work through the issue they are having.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am always learning. Along with attending the top 3 dog training schools in the country, I compete in different dog sports, network with some of the best dog trainers in the country, attend seminars, read books and articles about dog behavior and take courses based around dog psychology.
I also compete in the sport dog world with a focus on advanced obedience skills.

Do you have a standard pricing system for your services? If so, please share the details here.
Individual lessons for basic obedience behaviors are $80 for an hour. If dealing with bite cases or extreme aggression price subject to change.
Board and Train programs start at $700 for the first week. $400 for each additional week. Private lessons included with training programs.

How did you get started in this business?
I've always had a passion for animals. So in 2006 I attended a masters program in St. Louis to become a professor dog trainer and have been building on my knowledge and skills ever since.
What types of customers have you worked with?
14 years in the business. I think at this point I've worked with every type of dog, with every type of behavior, lol.
