Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
After determining whether there request is within the scope of our skills, I next have to look at the site where the potential work will be conducted. Then I make a complete materials list to submit to the potential customer with the complete estimated cost and time to complete the task.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have over 5 years of residential electrical experience with 2 years of verified apprenticeship training. I am also employed as an apprentice doing industrial work as I prepare to take my journey man exam.
I am also attending Central Piedmont Communityu college, studying Electrical Systems Technology, which is an Associated degree which prepares you for the Journeyman exam with classroom/lab and hands on experience.
I am also a Disabled Veteran business owner who brings all of his self discispline, integrity and respect to the service industry, to allow us the opportunity to help those in our community solve their issues.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your services? If so, please share the details here.
Normally, it is a standard $125.00 an hour, but there are arrangements which can be tailored to a specific situation. We are here to bring solutions, not add to the problem.
How did you get started in this business?
I got into the residential rehab business to help my fellow veterans find affordable housing. By purchasing foreclosed or distressed homes and renovating them and making those homes avaiable to veterans for rent, lease, or sale.
What types of customers have you worked with?
I have worked with a very diverse customer base.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
I am very fond of doing quality work, every job that I touch I complete to the best of my ability. I have a high standard of quality of work from my time in the U.S. Army.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?
The customer always has a choice in who they contract a job to, be sure that you have the right, qualified person to do the job.
What questions should customers think through before talking to pros about their needs?
A customer should make a list of the problem, how long the problem has persisted, what step they have already taken to resolve the issue.
This will assist the technician in recommending a solution to their issue.
