What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We walk through our process with our customers, educating them on what we look for and answer any questions they may have to help give them a better understanding of what we look for. We make the process as simple as possible. All our clients need to do is schedule the inspection through our website and we take care of the rest!
some inspectors don't like to be bothered by the clients during the inspection, but we encourage each of our clients to come to the inspection for however long they want to. We work for our clients and welcome them, not only at the end of the inspection, but for the whole thing if they would like!
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Prior to Home Inspections, I built pools, built and restore decks. I am also a roofing contractor and own a local roofing company in the Garner/Clayton North Carolina area.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your services? If so, please share the details here.
Our pricing is determined by square footage, city and age of the home. Our pricing is competitive and we've been told on the lower end, but with a more thorough report. We feel that a home inspection shouldn't cost an arm and a leg and we believe in fair pricing. Contact us directly for a specific quote. We also provide cash discounts!
How did you get started in this business?
I actually got into Home Inspections after buying my first house and finding serious issues in my home that my previous inspector missed. At the time, my wife and I could barely afford our first home and we were relying on the expertise of the inspector. I got in this business because I know contracting and felt I could provide a better service and to make sure what happened to us never happened to anyone again.
What types of customers have you worked with?
We've worked for clients buying a tiny home, to clients purchasing a 17,000 FT property. We've done brand new construction and historic homes. We even inspect commercial properties. We work with first time home buyers, retirees and investment property owners.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?
I would recommend reading reviews and asking questions. You can get to know a lot about a company by doing those two things. You need to have established trust because you are, in most cases, making the most expensive investment of your life.
