Describe a recent event you are fond of.
Behavior problems are among the top reasons pet animals are relinquished to shelters in our country. Keeping pets in their loving homes and out of the sheltering system not only keeps families together; it also reduces the burden on community shelters, making it possible for those agencies to provide services and resources to other animals. We are proud of the work we do for pets and their people! The SPCA of Wake County is striving to end the euthanasia of adoptable pets in our community by the year 2025. The Force-Free Training Network contributes directly to that goal.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?
Please contact one of the training partners in our network directly. They are listed here: https://spcawake.org/services/pet-behavior/. During your conversations, feel free to ask whatever questions you have about the trainers' experience, education, and fee schedule, as well as the behavior and training goals you're hoping to achieve.
What questions should customers think through before talking to pros about their needs?
Feel free to ask whatever comes to mind. Nothing is off limits. Our trainers and consultants understand that your pet is a member of your family and that his or her problems are just as important as things your other family members might experience!
