What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have been training dogs for over 17 years and my hands-on experience is backed by a bachelor's degree in Animal Sciences from Purdue University, with a specialization in Animal Behavior and Well-being.
I am also a Certified Professional Dog Trainer (CPDT-KA) and have served as a Delta Society Pet Partners Team Evaluator and AKC Canine Good Citizen evaluator.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?
Look for more than just experience! A professional with a background in the science of training and behavior and who seeks out continuing education is going to bring more modern methods to the table.
