I also work with you on behavioral issues you may be experiencing from jumping, barking, chewing, separation anxiety, generalized shyness(anxiety) or reactivity with other dogs and more. What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We start our journey with a free phone consult so that I can gather details on your needs and situation. This also allows you to ask questions and become informed on training methods and how we can proceed with teaching your dog. Then we choose a package whether that is in-home training at our home or board and train at CANINE PawRTNERS. We do the number of lessons you choose in order to meet your goals. And along the way we have a fun time and so does your dog!
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am an Accredited Professional Dog Trainer with 10+ years of experience. I have studied at numerous Service Dog and General Dog Training Facilities, conducted years of research, attended Professional dog training and behavioral conferences annually, completed certificate seminars on canine training and behavior. I have run group classes, seminars for other trainers, and in-home training sessions. I have worked with 100+ breeds of dogs and participated with rescue organizations in training dogs that are being adopted or need help so they can be adopted. I have passionately read not only books and articles on training, but have read scientific papers and books on the canine brain, neurology and sensory systems so I can more thoroughly understand how the world is perceive by dogs and how they can best be helped. Simply said, I LOVE all topics on DOGs!
