Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Begin by asking what their concerns and expectations are. Try and give them an outline of the services i provide and also an outline of the training i believe would be best for the dog! Set up a package of training and sessions. Meet and greet with both the dog and owner. Sign a simple training agreement and get straight to training.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Personal training with my dog and friends dogs along with customers as well. Trying to grow my clientele. Will be trying to get my Master certification in dog training this year if i can get into the intense school.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your services? If so, please share the details here.
Right now since im not certified yet. Im offeeing lessons between 60-75 dollars for an hour session. Depending on the needs and wants of the owner. I also would prefer setting up a package deal, as itbnormally takes multiple lessons for even basic obedience. Can discuss and make changes just depends on the situation.
How did you get started in this business?
I fell in love this past year while I was getting my dog trained. Have since continued her training, sharpened my skills with friends dogs and clients as well. I have always loved dogs and this puts a smile on my face knowing I've helped the owner but most importantly the dog to have the best life they can have.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?
Just meet the person , watch the interaction with the animal. Give the training an opportunity to work don't expect overnight results even though that can happen. Listen to the things they ask you to work on between sessions as the work at home is key! Trust your gut usually yourself and your dog will let ya know if its a good fit.

Time they will need to put in
