I'm a registered veterinary technician who loves working with animals and believe they should be comfortable in their own environment when their owners are away. That can be a difficult and stressful time for the pet. I believe keeping them in a familiar and safe place can help reduce or eliminate that stress.
The personal interaction and attention given to each pet. I want the pets to still receive love and affection as if their owners are hone. I want to give each owner the peace of mind knowing their special furry loved one is in great hands. In short, I treat every animal as if they are my own.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
After the initial contact either over the phone or by email, I ask for the potential client to set up a meet and greet with the sitter/walker. This ensures everyone is a right fit. There is online appointment booking available on the Fur & Whiskers Pet Sitters website.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am a registered veterinary technician (nurse) and have been for over 8 years. I have worked in general practice, ICU/Emergency and various specialty departments, cardio ,radiation and medical oncology, Internal medicine. I am trained and qualified in giving medications if needed while the owner is away.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your services? If so, please share the details here.
For pet sitting inquiries: I charge by time spent with your pet per visit. You choose how long you want me with your pet(s).
Daily or weekly Dog walking/yard outings inquiries: $20 per walk/outing for a total of 30 minutes. Discount for multiple walks/yard outings available. More pricing details on website.
How did you get started in this business?
I worked as a Registered Veterinarian Technician in multiple departments for the past 9 years. Some include general practice, ICU/Emergency, Radiation and medical Oncology, Internal Medicine, Cardiology. Due to family circustances I could no longer work full-time. So I chose to create a business doing something that I loved. Being able to spend time with cute furry friends makes me happy!
