Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Since every customer is different, there is no "typical" process when working with someone new. Some customers like to be very inovled with the processes while others just want the work to be completed with as little distraction as necessary. Either way is fine, as I find it important to inform the customer of what needs to be done, price, and possible options.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have two associates degrees in Business Administration and am currently working on a Bachelors in Accounting. This helps me communicate the financial and other cost/benefits to the customer.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your services? If so, please share the details here.
My standard pricing system is per job rather than time & material because when quoting using the per-job method there is almost never any unexpected costs and both the customer and myself know what the final bill will be. This helps ensure complete transparency.
How did you get started in this business?
My family, all the way back to my great grandfather, have been involved in the excavating and septic services profession. Ever since I was a child, i had often assisted my father and grandfather with installations of the outdoor plumbing systems. Therefore, when the I was offered a position as a plumbing apprentice I sezied the opportunity.
