About
I love animals, dogs cats cows horses! And everything in between. I have had pets my whole life. Both sets of grandparents loved animals, and I was lucky enough to spend lots of summers at the farm!
I lost my beloved dog in 2015. I didn’t look for another pet, but decided to start dog walking and pet sitting. I will stay overnight with your pet for a week or for a day. I understand it is good for them to stay in their environment while you are away.
I have references and am a mature energetic active female who is a writer, so my days can be flexible. I get so much love from them too. it is a pleasure and an honor to be your pet’s Friend.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Call me or text me. I like to meet your pet with you present for the first time. We will play a bit and get to know each other.
You will show me food, treats, leash(es), bed, and yard if there is one. If there are meds you will educate me. You will tell me everything you think I should know about your pet’s personality and preferences. Then we will proceed as you wish. I don’t always think a trial day or night is necessary unless you do. You know your pet best.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a lifelong love of animals. I don’t worry about my capabilities with your pet. I am very patient and easy going and approachable. I have a slow approach for timid pets and open arms for the more rambunctious
I will never discipline your pet unless you instruct me to and provide guidelines. While your pet will learn I am in charge in your absence, you are ultimately in charge (the alpha if you will) and I don’t want to confuse them.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your services? If so, please share the details here.
For walking and daily pet care, $20/hour. If you live more than 15 miles from me I may charge for travel time. We will discuss first. If you want me to spend the night, I would charge $10/hour. If you need a week or two, we can agree ahead of time on a price.
