We cant say enough good things about Daniel Foster! His work ethic is superior. The quality of the work he did for us was outstanding. We appreciated his keeping us informed throughout the process regarding the scope of the job and timing for his arrival. He was even proactive with advice about a separate problem we were having even though Allied wasnt in a position to bid for that job - now thats good customer service! In an era when we are becoming more and more frustrated with vendors disappointing us, Allied Home Remodeling stands out as one of the BEST vendors with which we have dealt in the entire 40+ years we have lived in our home. Daniel is the best!

Daniel was very polite and prompt on his first visit to see our bathroom project. We had a lot of pictures from Pinterest that we wanted to incorporate in our bathroom remodel. The list he asked us to make became very extensive but he pulled it together and offered other suggestions to better fit our budget. He treated our home with respect and protected everything from the front to to the bathroom. Very courteous and respectful and looking forward to working with him on our shiplap wall for our bedroom.

    Frequently asked questions

We get the basic information first and then setup a date and time that's convenient for them to come out and look at their project. We listen to what they want vs what they need and then create an estimate based off the information we gather to best work within their budget.

My education started back in high school with Vo-tech and then immediately after graduating started my employment with Jim Weaver Custom Home builders. That continued for the next 5 yrs learning different trades to include plumbing, electrical, framing, concrete, waterproofing and equipment operation.  From there I moved to Annapolis and gained employment with Quality built homes for the next 4 years where I perfected fine carpentry and started to appreciate attention to details. So I wanted to broaden my skills and learn design/ build and became a Project Mgr for 4 yrs and then became an estimator. After that I worked for 3 different remodeling companies and decided I needed to create a different kind of company where corners aren't cut and customer satisfaction is a priority.

I followed in my fathers footsteps and got my first job working for the same company as him. I was hoping he would of put a good word in for me but it seems for the first 4 months all I did was dig footings. lol

I have worked with homeowners, Landlords, new investors, seasoned investors, realtors and Property Mgmt companies.

So a single mom just purchased 2nd townhome and her first home needed a lot of work to pass the home inspection. It was a very large list of things that needed to be corrected and she was given multiple estimates. She was in a pickle because she had purchased her new home and closed but still did not sell her first and now with 2 mortgages her budget was shrinking. Then the contract fell thru on her first home on top of all that stress. She was referred to me from a customer I was currently doing a 300 sqft bathroom remodel. I met with her and reviewed the home inspection and was able to complete the job in 2 weeks and under budget giving her peace of mind and 4 days after she obtained a new contract and sold her first home before her new mortgage payment was due. Since then I have gotten 5 new customers referrals just from her. That's what it's all about.

Best advice I can give a customer looking to hire a pro is check references, look at work. Just because an estimate is cheaper than another doesn't mean your getting the same quality or outcome of work. Ask plenty of questions. There are no dumb questions when it comes to doing work in your home.

First and foremost what is our budget. Do we have reserves in case of unforeseen? Create a budget and stick to it. I ask customers to make a list. For example, you want to do a kitchen remodel, make a list of your wants and needs two separate columns. Ask the Pro if they can generate multiple estimates based off that list. Do you offer financing, forms of payment accepted, etc.

Is this something that needs to be done now or can it wait? Are there different materials you can use to better fit my budget?
If you were remodeling a kitchen are we going to be able to still use the kitchen?
