We strive to make our clients' experience as easy and convenient as possible. We won’t charge extra for the little things such as weekend visits, medication administration, etc. We offer flexibility in scheduling wherever we can; just let us know what you need and we will try to make it work. Finally, we use an online invoice and payment system so you don’t have to take time out of your day to find an ATM or your checkbook.
I started Above & Beyond Pet Services in 2012 because for me, pets have always been more than animals: they're family. Above & Beyond Pet Services is a dog walking and pet sitting company for folks who feel the same way. Our goal is to provide five star, professional, trustworthy service so that you can confidently leave your pet(s) in our care.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We generally help anyone who needs it. We ask what their immentent needs are, and thensend paperwork. After the owner has a chance to read / complete the paperwork we have a in person interview to temp check the pet(s) in question, a breief walkthrough and answer any outstanding questoinbs that the owner may have. Once the paperwork is filed we share the instructions with the owner to ensure they approve or if there is a tweak that needs to be made. Once the owner gives the thumbs up, we can help to as needed.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a customer service background of of 22 year (8 years in this industry). I am American Red Cross Pet CPR/1st Aid trained. All of my caregivers are empoyees that are bonded, insured and have had a criminal background check.

Describe a recent event you are fond of.
A dog owner called during COVID and asked if we could poop patrol her yard as her long time dog walker closed during COVID and she had just been letting her dog into her back yard for 2 months and her grand daughter was coming over for a distance visit.
I was able to visit and speak with her, and have the whole yard taken care of within 2 hours of the initial call so she got to hav a nice visit with her family.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?
Determine what servciues you want, and who offers it.
If you want your dog to be walked solo, ensure that is possible as most dog walking companies only want pack walks.
What questions should customers think through before talking to pros about their needs?
Check to see their online ratings on multiple sites (Yelp, Google, Facebook and Angie's List).
Check to see if they are bonded and insured.
If they have employees, are thye contract workers or actual employees. Are Criminal Background Checks done?
