After working for a few well known companies I got to a point that I had to start my own thing. I already had enough experience and I wanted to do things my way. So I knew the time was right!!

I had a client that always complement my work but also never really liked the price which is not very common since my rates are below average. He asked for a lower price but it was already a good deal I couldn't do it he decided to tried someone else. 6 months later he reached me out trying every excuse for getting back to me but when I got to his place and realized how bad it was I didn't hesitate to get the truth out of him that he did found a better deal but unfortunately that didn't came with a great job and that is a life lesson we all should learn. Cheaper” tends to come with a lower price and a higher cost. When this is true, cheaper is more expensive. “Expensive” tends to come with a higher price and a lower cost. ... The employee that you hire because you are trying to save money can cost you much more than you saved by beingthrifty.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?
Let the price be the least of your worries. Focus on trust, flexibility and quality!!
What questions should customers think through before talking to pros about their needs?
Should make sure if is a fixed or hourly rate.
Make sure they agree with cleaning produtos will be used etc and last but not least make sure both parties agreed with price and details BEFORE performing the job.
