Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Since most electrical jobs are unique we typically send someone out to the location to find out exactly what the customer needs so we can provide an accurate quote.
We generate the quote and a link is sent to the customer via email and/or text. They can review it and accept it online.
Once we get the job, everything is handled by our advanced computer system. All of the information is available to the technicians through an integrated app. They can view pictures, review notes, update information, etc. The system also has GPS tracking so you will be notified when the electrician is on his way so time is not wasted waiting. Once the job is complete you will receive the invoice via email which you can pay online.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
We have 3 Master Electricians on staff and 10 Journeyman Electricians. We also hold a security license to install security systems and cameras. Further all of our technicians have been trained in Generator installation and maintainence and we are one of the few (if not only) companies certified to install the new Generac PWRCell clean energy storage system. This system takes solar power and stores the energy in a battery bank that immediately turns on and powers your home during an outage.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your services? If so, please share the details here.
We are priced very competitively and fair. Our system uses GPS tracking so we know the exact time a technician arrives at a job and the exact time they leave. This means that you will only be charged for the time we work. Our customers know exactly how long we are in their homes and the invoice reflect this.
What types of customers have you worked with?
We have worked with every possible type of customer. From homeowners looking to replace an outlet to large commercial construction companies building skyscrapers. We even worked on an airport runway once.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?
Make sure they are a pro.
Make sure they are licensed and insured.
Make sure they follow the law and code.
Make sure they know the law and code.
Make sure they don't cut corners.
Make sure they get the proper permits.
What questions should customers think through before talking to pros about their needs?
Always consider the future. You may be renovating a room and installing new lights/switches. That's fine but think about what you might want a few years from now. Maybe it is speakers in the ceiling or mount a tv on the wall with the cable box hidden in a closet or basement for a clean installation. It is far easier to do this work all at once when the walls are open vs starting from scratch later.
