Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I like to meet with the client to better understand their objectives and standards. After a thorough assessment and consultation regarding procedures, I then develop a Scope Of Work that details my understanding of the project, our strategy for executing the work and an estimate for labor and materials.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I've been trained by a 40-year master in Colorado and painted houses in NE for a decade.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your services? If so, please share the details here.
I typically quite a not-to-exceed figure with the promise to bill only for hours worked which puts the client in ultimate control of the project and expenses.
How did you get started teaching?
I don't teach. I serve.
What types of customers have you worked with?
Residential, commercial, contractors, decorators, designers - all who appreciate quality and efficacy.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?
Ask for references that are RECENT and have the contractor account for any gaps in projects.
What questions should customers think through before talking to pros about their needs?
Have a clear understanding of what and when they want the work done and give some thought to their quality expectations.
