What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I enjoy meeting the customer in person and assessing the project at hand. I review every aspect of the project with the client. This includes things they may have missed. I review all the information according to materials and estimated labor time. This usually takes a day or two depending on the size of the project. After completing the estimate I setup a time and day to meet with the client and present the project estimate.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I was twenty years old when I started working in construction. Forty plus years later I have learned a few things. A wise man never relies just upon himself. I have many associates and friends I can call upon for a second opinion. My job is to get your project done right the first time.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your services? If so, please share the details here.
We offer fair and reasonable pricing according to the current labor and materials market. We even offer some financing to qualified customers.
How did you get started in this business?
I have been in construction since I was a young man. I truly enjoy working with clients to make their vision for their property a reality. There is nothing like seeing the smile on the face of a client when their dream becomes real.
What types of customers have you worked with?
I have worked with all types of clients. Some clients have a plan of action and others rely on our expertise. We listen carefully to our clients and work together to accomplish their goals. It is our job to transform their dreams into reality.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
We repaired a flat roof that had been layered over to SIX INCHES thick. It was a horrible mess. We literally had to use pick axes to chop the tar roof off. The entire flat roof had to have the plywood replaced. A lot of joist were replaced, along with facia boards. The job was a challenge but nothing we couldn't handle as a team. The smile on our clients face said it all. Job well done.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?
Always meet the contractor in person. Never hire over the phone. Let them view the project in your presence. Have them assess and present a plan for the project at hand.
