Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Team Care is here to care for your family, two & four legged! I would to chat with you first, ensure we are a good fit then make steps to meet and greet! I typically would like a phone/text, then meet in person to get a full home tour and become trusted in the family!
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have been a foster care coordinator, I have had had dogs and cats my entire life, as well as hamsters, birds, and even horse... OH MY! I trained my dogs very well due to love, time, and being supportive. I am a therapist who connects with love and animal connection.

Tips: Service Companies strongly encourage clients to tip their sitters. Clients may tip walkers directly, or add it to their bill for their services. This is a job of love, compassion, time, and taking care of animals or houses that is a huge responsibility for someone to leave someone else in charge of. I personally take it very seriously because I know how it feels and only want comfort while your family is away. I promise to keep the animal(s) and house safe. I always ask for emergency vet’s, a close neighbor, or family/friend nearby for contact numbers just in case of an emergency.
How did you get started in this business?
This all started with love and missing animals. I missed having a small zoo at my house and starting house/pet sitting. I been doing this for 15 years, and started to do it more often and then saw I was so busy I needed help! Its about love for animals!
What types of customers have you worked with?
I have worked with many different customers, couples, singles, families, zoos! We are a family here and willing to make our family grow and welcome yours to ours!
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
I am also a foster mother when I see a dog with anxiety and behavioral issues. . . I have fostered 17 dogs since July who all have amazing families and I see welcome back to my home for sitting and dog care! My last dog was one of hardest but best success stories!! She had anxiety, could not be alone from people or dogs, she could not find love until she had her furever home after 3 months! NEVER GIVE UP!
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?
Always ask for experience, photos, and past people they have worked with. Trust and honest is the most important thing, so how can we keep your family safe and feel comfortable while your gone?
What questions should customers think through before talking to pros about their needs?
ER contacts, family near by? Allergies? What does your dogs/cats/pets love and hate?
