I live in your home with your pets so that the cadence of the home remains as if you were still there. I feed, give medications, care for and spend time with your furry kids, work with any contractors you have that need to get into the home, take in the mail, newspapers, let in the cleaning people too. I site for cats, fish, rodents and small dogs. For dogsitting, I require that you have a yard I can let the dogs out into during inclement weather and for early morning and late night needs.
I love animals, and have been told I'm a pet whisperer. I have been doing this for over 10 years on the North Shore. I am happy to provide references. Many of my clients hire me after their dogs have been injured in commercial dog boarding settings, and when their dogs are getting older and need more care. I treat the pets as if they are my own. I live and work in Evanston, and prefer clients on the northshore.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I speak with the customer by phone to get travel details and to understand their needs and types of animals in the home. I let them know my fee and if they are interested, I send an agreement for them to fill out and send. Once we decide to work together, I come to the home to meet the animals and get a tour of the home.
I DO sit for homes without pets as well.
A week before the sit begins, I go back to the home for the keys. And the homeowner then leaves a check for me or pays me by venmo when they leave home.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have taken a Tellington Touch course, I am a Reiki Master Teacher and do reiki for the pets. And my love for critters is my best selling point.
