I'm Emily and I have been cleaning up after kids, adults, and pets for 8 years in my personal life as well as general cleaning in retail and foodservice for 6 years I prefer to focus on quality so I take the time to make sure the job is done properly.
I love hands on work where I can see the results of my efforts. I have spent most of my career in retail and I disliked it not because of the people but because it's an environment that doesn't encourage fostering real connections with anyone, only efficency. What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Id like to start by establishing rooms and appliances within the rooms youd like done, as well as any ground rules for anything I shouldn't be touching or anywhere I shouldn't be going. Anything you want cleaned but handled very carefully. If you are planning to be present for the cleaning than it would be helpful for us to do a walkthrough before and after to make sure we are on the same page and so that I can finish anything else you need before leaving.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
My personal expierence has been cleaning up after my own family as well as light cleaning for opening and closing small retail stores and closing fast food restaurants.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your services? If so, please share the details here.
Because of the fact that I would like to stay until it's exactly what you need I like to price by service instead of by hour. My pricing is based on my commute and any supplies I am providing.
My minimum for up to five miles away is $70 and for 6-10 miles is $105.
What questions should customers think through before talking to pros about their needs?
Do you need supplies and equipment provided or will you be providing anything?
Do you have any need for specific supplies? Anything your allergic to?
Do you want your proffesional to meet you outside, knock when they get there?
Do you require any kind of mini interview before the cleaning for safety reasons? What amount of Covid Wariness will you expect?
