How did you get started in this business?
Never been diagnosed with a cleaning disorder before but my cleaning in many ways has been over the top. To the point company was uncomfortable. Put a glass on the table, I’m on the side lifting cleaning the spot. It was terrible! So I started working at the Hyatt hotel as a housekeeper in year 2000 & put that extra cleaning into my work & shined - loved it. I’m a perfectionist in what I do because I enjoy the smiles, compliments & feed back from my work.
What types of customers have you worked with?
I’ve worked with & cleaned Join for kids daycare/after school (5) days a week. Contracted with Marathon management college turns. EMA Realty office cleaning. (4) Airbnb cleanings 2 - 4 times a week (2) different clients. Edward Jones office cleaning. Barbershop cleaning. Post construction cleaning. Reoccurring bi weekly & monthly Residential all current.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
College turns! August 2018.
I signed a 16 day contract with them to clean 400 - 600 rooms. When we started there were 6 cleaning services on site. The 3rd day we were number 1 for cleanings - any jobs we couldn’t do went to one other cleaning company that was on call. Loved it & the owners loved the work provided.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?
To make sure there licensed & insured. Look for quality of the work. Picture’s tell all! It’s not about how fast you get done - it’s the efficiency & consistency that matters although time does play its part.
What questions should customers think through before talking to pros about their needs?
The type of cleaning they would like to receive & if there’s any peeves. This would help the cleaners to understand the cleaning to provide for that all cleanings provided are the same DETAILED but all clients look for & at different things when receiving services.
